Data Deletion

You have the right to delete your Facebook data from Hermez at any time. Here's exactly what gets deleted and how to do it.

What Data Hermez Stores

When you connect Facebook to Hermez, we store:

  • Your Facebook User ID and name
  • Your Facebook profile picture URL
  • Your Facebook access token (used to make API calls on your behalf)
  • The Facebook Pages you manage — their Page IDs, names, access tokens, and pictures

We do not store your Messenger conversations or message content — those are fetched live from Facebook and never written to our database.

Option 1 — Remove Hermez from Facebook (Automatic Deletion)

When you remove Hermez from your Facebook apps, Facebook automatically notifies us and we delete all of your Facebook data immediately:

Go to Facebook Settings → Security and Login → Apps and Websites.

Find Hermez in the list of connected apps.

Click Remove. Facebook will send a deletion signal to Hermez.

Your Facebook UID, access token, name, picture, and all associated Pages are deleted from our database within seconds.

Option 2 — Disconnect Inside Hermez

You can disconnect your Facebook account from within Hermez at any time. This clears your Facebook access token, Pages, and associated data from our servers. Your Hermez account itself remains (without Facebook data); you can then delete it fully via the method below.

Option 3 — Delete Your Hermez Account

To permanently delete your Hermez account and all associated data, email us at privacy@hermez.app with the subject line "Delete my account". We will complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm by email.

Verification

After Facebook sends a deletion notification, you will receive a confirmation at the URL below. You can use the confirmation code provided to verify that your deletion request was processed.
